Alpha Protocol delayed yet again
Posted on | February 7, 2010 | No Comments

Following two ~6 month delays last year, Obsidian’s Alpha Protocol has been pushed back once more. Set for a spring 2010 release when its peculiarly handled October 2009 delay happened, the spy RPG is now penciled in for a summer 2010 release.
The reason for the previous delay, according to Sega’s assistant producer Matthew Hickman, was so they could ship “a very polished game.” The title has seen a number of improvements over last number of months he says, an improved inventory system and better lighting effects among them. However, the MTV preview the news comes from does warn that raw visuals and AI problems still occur, so it appears the latest delay is a prudent one.
